Summerfest showcases the single largest gathering of original local performers than any other festival in Northern Ontario. Bringing originality, uniqueness, family fun, and comedy to Sudbury through a variety of stages and areas. Past performers include; a juggler riding a 6 foot high unicycle, a comedy of ballet on stilts, the music of Bandolini, the one-man band or Charlie Chaplin and his hilarious antics!
SummerFest also presents activities for the mind. Mad Science has been a part of Summerfest for several years making science fun with real hands on entertainment. Story Socks regaled children with stories on the Story Book Stage.
Today, Sudbury Summerfest has grown into one of Northern Ontario's premier, family festivals. Multiple stages bring a variety of musical genres for the entire family.
Sudbury SummerFest proudly promotes accessibility striving toward being inclusive to to the entire Greater Sudbury community.
There is no better way to spend a fun, family weekend then with Sudbury Summerfest. Enjoying music, artists, cotton candy and the midway on the picturesque shores of Lake Ramsey at Bell Park.
Set next to Paris Street, this grassy area presents a pleasant venue for concerts. In the evening, this stage is home to festival headliners.

A popular stage for all ages, this year the entertainment promises once again to deliver. All viewing areas accessible.
Set in the centre of the vendor village, right in the hub of activity is Festival Square. Accessible viewing area provided.
The rocky shoreline presents a natural grandstand for viewing the trick water ski show. Catch the beauty of the ballet on skis, the athleticism of the jumps and spins, the comedic falls, all while overlooking beautiful Ramsey Lake. As a special bonus, acoustic performers entertain while you wait for the water ski show to start.
